I don’t typically leave reviews but wanted to say- if you’re on the fence about buying this just do it! This was the best price I could find for a latex type topper. We added it to our Avocado green mattress (latex) that was a bit too firm for me. The “soft” version is perfect and 1” thickness was enough support for me and my partner. It overlaps the corners of the king bed a little so we may have to trim it with a scissors but it’s no big deal. Had a faint rubbery smell upon unpacking but it dissipated quickly. Does not sleep hot- which is hugely important in the South! Love it!
Basically I purchased this 1″ twin size super soft all natural latex topper to cut it up for some projects I was doing making custom sized pillows and for some chair coverings but I liked it enough to order additional toppers for my DIY mattress.
So I highly recommend the Vytex latex, it is a bright clean color with no artificial chemical type odor at all, just the pleasant natural sweet scent of real latex.
One thing however, since this supersoft latex has a low ILD rating of 14 (the lower this number the softer the foam) if you are not a extremely thin person you should consider a higher ILD number for more support. So just soft or even medium perhaps would be better for you for both support and comfort.
I ordered this because the mattress I was sleeping on is a bit too firm. I discovered that having the cushion is precisely what I needed to get a much higher quality sleep.
It arrived, and just as promised, there was absolutely no odor! I specifically wanted the organic latex so it would protect me from the fumes, and be safe to sleep on. This topper is even better than I imagined it would be. Thank you so much for creating an honest product description to allow your customers not only better sleep, but a safer sleeping environment!
